Role Overview :
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Procurement Management to lead the procurement function of our organization in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of procurement experience in the banking or financial sector, with strong expertise in vendor management, sourcing strategies, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the bank’s procurement department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that maximize value, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and contracts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
- Conduct market research and risk assessments to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations, HR) to meet organizational procurement needs.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Saudi commercial laws, banking regulations, and procurement standards is a plus.
