Education: 2-year technical degree (BAC+2) with at least 7 years of experience
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Design Manager or Lead Designer:

Proficient use of required CAD software (AutoCAD and 3D model reading)

Main deliverables: cable routing plans, terminal plans, block diagrams, schematics

3D modeling: ensure technical feasibility of installations, compliance with standards and regulations

Ability to calculate cable tray fill rates and make minor updates to low-voltage (LV) calculation notes using CANECO, initially drafted by the electrical design engineer

Participate in coordination and synthesis meetings with the design team

Generate quantity take-offs and bill of quantities per zone for site execution and budget updates

Update plans continuously throughout the project and finalize as-built documentation (DOE)

Collaborative work: comfortable using collaborative platforms and working with cross-functional design teams, including other disciplines
