Context

As part of a project to renovate Automatic Safety Systems (SSA) at an industrial site, we are looking for a Systems Expert to provide technical support to the Project Manager in overseeing engineering activities related to automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation.

The role requires strong interaction with project teams, operators, engineering offices, and contractors involved in the project to ensure technical consistency and compliance of studies throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the Project Manager in coordinating and monitoring engineering activities related to automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Supervise and analyze deliverables produced by engineering contractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and applicable standards.
  • Participate in defining project execution strategies (work phasing, lock-out procedures, shutdown periods, and switch-over scenarios).
  • Manage technical interfaces between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify technical and operational risks and propose appropriate optimization solutions.
  • Contribute to the definition of system architectures, particularly in terms of supervision systems and associated tools.
  • Review and improve functional analyses required for the project and support their evolution through FAT and SAT testing phases.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in safety systems, particularly HIMA solutions.
  • Verify the technical consistency of functional analyses and engineering documents with applicable standards and requirements.
  • Ensure the distribution and updating of technical data required for engineering studies.
  • Participate in technical working groups related to the preparation and execution of the work.
  • Ensure confidentiality of project-related technical documents and information.

Profile Required

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation systems, including critical or high-safety environments.
  • Proven expertise in automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
  • Experience in complex industrial projects involving technical coordination and engineering validation.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety systems and supervision architectures.
  • Professional English proficiency required for technical exchanges.
