CAD Designer (CFO/CFA) (J25-086)
Education
Bachelor’s degree (BAC+2 to BAC+5) with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Design Manager and in coordination with the Power (CFO) or Low-Current (CFA) Systems Engineer:

Oversee the work of internal/external/ST CAD draftsmen/modelers

Manage project modifications and updates (technical specifications, interfaces, architecture, etc.)

Understand and apply relevant standards and regulations (Euroclasses, NFC 15-100, NFS, ERP, etc.)

Validate the technical feasibility of the installation

Take ownership of deliverables list and project schedule

Collaborate with the Electrical Design Engineer to:

Calculate cable tray fill rates

Produce terminal layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams, and all related deliverables

Proficient in AutoCAD and a solid working knowledge of Revit (for viewing and/or editing)

Work within a BIM 360 collaborative environment

Optimize the technical aspects of the project and propose technical alternatives

Multidisciplinary expertise: power distribution (CFO), security systems, CCTV, fire detection (SSI), building automation (BMS), access control
-
Ensure proper documentation flow to internal stakeholders (project managers, site supervisors, etc.) and external partners (inspection offices, clients, etc.)
