Role Context

We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead the management of contractual claims, forensic planning analysis, and dispute avoidance on large-scale infrastructure projects in Riyadh. The role requires deep expertise in contract administration, delay analysis, and commercial strategy to proactively protect project entitlements and minimize disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, evaluation, and management of contractual claims in accordance with FIDIC conditions
  • Perform and oversee forensic planning and delay analysis (TIA, windows analysis, as-planned vs as-built, CPM)
  • Develop and implement dispute avoidance strategies through early identification of risks and entitlements
  • Provide contractual advice to project teams on claims, variations, and change management
  • Support EOT submissions, claim negotiations, and settlement discussions
  • Interface with planning, cost control, and legal teams to substantiate claims
  • Maintain robust claim records, correspondence, and contemporaneous documentation
  • Support dispute resolution processes, including DRB/DAB, mediation, or arbitration if required
  • Prepare high-level claim reports and presentations for senior management and clients

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, or Project Management
  • 8–15 years of experience in claims management on major infrastructure projects
  • Proven expertise in forensic planning and delay analysis
  • Strong experience with FIDIC-based contracts (Red / Yellow / Silver Book)
  • Background in dispute avoidance and claims strategy on mega or giga projects
  • Ability to operate at senior stakeholder and executive levels
