Main Objective
As part of ProjectTech’s growth strategy in the German market, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to identify, source, and develop new business opportunities in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Energy, and Consulting.
This role is primarily focused on business introduction and deal sourcing, identifying viable projects, partners, and clients that ProjectTech can engage with or develop commercially in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and qualify project opportunities in Germany within the target sectors (Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Energy, Consulting).
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients: private companies, public entities, developers, investors, and consulting firms.
- Gather accurate project intelligence (scope, budget, timeline, key stakeholders, and decision-makers).
- Negotiate collaboration or representation agreements with local partners and clients.
- Present verified business leads and potential projects to ProjectTech Management for evaluation.
- Sourcing & Partnership Development
- Identify and engage with technical partners, service providers, and consultants who can collaborate with ProjectTech in Germany.
- Establish strategic alliances and explore synergies between regional players.
- Build and maintain a robust professional network within German business communities (contractors, engineering firms, chambers of commerce, trade agencies, etc.).
- Follow-up & Reporting
- Provide regular activity and pipeline reports summarizing sourced projects, partnerships, and leads.
- Ensure transparency and traceability of all introduced opportunities.
- Work closely with ProjectTech Management to evaluate the feasibility and commercial potential of each opportunity.
Profile Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Deal Sourcing, or Partnership Management, preferably in Consulting, Engineering, or Project Management.
- Proven track record of generating business opportunities in European markets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong local business network and market knowledge in Germany
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, and results-oriented.
- Familiarity with Project Management and Consulting industries.
- Fluent in English and German; other European languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent reporting and coordination with headquarters.
