Job Context
Within the Commissioning Unit, you will actively participate in the commissioning of HVAC systems in tertiary and industrial buildings. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, electricians/regulation technicians, as well as internal or subcontracted commissioning engineers.
Main Missions
Commissioning & Adjustments

Start-up, configuration, and adjustment of HVAC equipment: Air Handling Units (AHU), smoke extraction, pumps, fan coil units, pressure maintenance, water softeners, etc.

Participate in commissioning chillers, boilers, and other thermal equipment.
Regulation & Automation
-
Adjust and commission control systems.

Monitor technical tests alongside construction teams (project manager or site supervisor).

Optimize overall system performance.
Measurements & Testing

Perform contractual tests and measurements:

Electrical inspections
-
Functional automation tests
-
Temperature, humidity, noise, and airflow measurements

Technical Adjustments
-
Hydraulic and aerodynamic adjustments of networks and equipment.

Verify compliance with energy performance objectives.
Supervision & Follow-up
-
Oversee installations on site until acceptance.

Manage a team of commissioning engineers or specialized subcontractors.

Participate in developing the preventive maintenance plan.
Profile Sought
Education: Minimum Bac+2 (2-year degree) in HVAC Engineering, Energy, or equivalent.
Experience: At least 3 to 4 years of experience in HVAC commissioning or start-up.
Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of HVAC equipment and multi-technical systems (electricity, control systems, low current).

Proficiency with communication protocols: KNX, Modbus, M-Bus, Bacnet, LonWorks, etc.

Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
