Context
As part of urban infrastructure projects, the Urban Video Protection (VPU) Construction Site Manager is responsible for the execution and deployment of urban video surveillance systems.
They oversee the operational management of works in coordination with internal teams, partner companies, and various institutional stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Management and coordination of VPU (urban video protection) works
- Organization and monitoring of site activities (scheduling, resources, supplies)
- Coordination of companies and subcontractors involved in the VPU scope
- Monitoring work progress and managing interfaces with other project packages
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Participation in testing, commissioning, and resolution of outstanding issues
- Regular reporting to the project manager
Required Profile
- Education: 2- to 5-year post-secondary degree (Bac +2 to Bac +5) in Telecommunications, Networks, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in construction site management or supervision of VPU projects
- Knowledge of urban video protection systems and related infrastructures
- Ability to work on construction sites in constrained urban environments
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and well-organized
