Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of a large-scale infrastructure project.
The role involves managing contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and handling claims, variations and disputes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all contractual activities from project initiation to completion.
- Review, interpret and administer contracts and contractual documents.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions and obligations.
- Handle variations, change orders and contract amendments.
- Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage claims preparation, evaluation and negotiation.
- Support project teams in contractual matters and provide strategic advice.
- Interface with clients, contractors and legal teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all contractual activities.
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Law, Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 5 years in a similar Contracts Manager role on large-scale projects.
- Strong experience in infrastructure or construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of contract management and claims processes.
- Familiarity with international contract standards (FIDIC is a strong advantage).
- Relevant professional certification is considered an advantage.
