CSA QA/QC Engineer (Industrial Project)– (J25-209)

Context

Within the framework of a large pharmaceutical construction project, we are looking for a CSA QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality compliance for civil, structural, and architectural works. This role covers structural integrity, finishes, and clean room building envelope, with strict adherence to GMP requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.

Missions & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidanceto CSA quality inspectors.
  • Review and approve CSA quality documentation (ITP, PQP, SQP, method statements, material approvals, concrete pour plans, etc.).
  • Supervise and control construction quality of:
  • Civil works(earthworks, foundations, concrete, steel structures).
  • Structural works(reinforcement, weld inspections, alignment, load testing).
  • Architectural works(walls, partitions, flooring, ceilings, doors, coatings, clean room finishes).
    • Ensure clean room envelope integrity(airtightness, flush finishes, GMP compliance).
    • Perform inspections and tests for concrete strength, rebar installation, waterproofing, alignment, fireproofing, coatings, and finishes.
    • Manage and follow up QOR (Quality Observation Reports)and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports).
    • Participate in supplier and subcontractor meetingsrelated to CSA works.
    • Support the Turnover teamto ensure handover packages are properly compiled and accepted.
    • Assist the Construction Manager (CM)and Project Manager (PM) with reporting and issue resolution.
    • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all CSA works.
    • Provide monthly corporate QA/QC reports.
    • (Bonus) Use of EIDA Toolfor inspections and quality control tracking.

Profile & Requirements

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering(or equivalent).
  • 3–7 years of QA/QC experiencein CSA works on large industrial/pharmaceutical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of European building codes, Eurocodes, DIN/EN standards.
  • Familiarity with GMP requirements for clean room construction(partitions, coatings, flooring, doors).
  • Proven experience in concrete, steel structures, architectural finishes.
  • Understanding of fire protection, waterproofing, clean room envelope testing (air tightness, smoke tests, pressure differentials).
  • Fluent in English(oral & written). German is a plus.
  • Rigorous, detail-oriented, strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.
