General Installation Designer (J25-224)

Sector: Nuclear Industry

Main Responsibilities

3D modeling of industrial installations using CATIA V5/V6, including:

Equipment and systems (excluding machinery)

Metal frameworks and structures

Piping, racks, walkways, supports, etc.

Produce related deliverables:

General and detailed drawings

Isometric drawings

Bills of materials and equipment lists

Update the digital model according to project evolution (change management).

Actively participate in:

Design reviews

Technical meetings with various engineering disciplines

Collaborate closely with teams in:

Systems Engineering

Nuclear Safety

Civil Engineering

Fluids / HVAC

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and nuclear security standards.
Profile Required

Education: Bac+2/3 to Bac+5 in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in general installation and plant design within a complex industrial environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 tools

Good understanding of general installation principles (layout, interferences, integration)

Ability to read and interpret technical documents (P&ID, layout drawings, etc.)

Knowledge of industrial standards and codes (RCC-M, EN, ISO, etc.)

Languages:

French: Fluent

English: Technical level (reading, writing, speaking required for project communication)
