HSE Engineer / Manager – Petrochemicals (M/F) (J25-177)

Context

As part of large-scale industrial and petrochemical projects, we are looking for an HSE Engineer / Manager to strengthen our local teams.

You will work on site and support operational teams in implementing the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy in line with regulatory and client standards.


Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy and monitor the implementation of HSE policy on site

  • Identify, assess, and control occupational and environmental risks related to industrial and petrochemical activities

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (ICPE, ATEX, SEVESO, etc.)

  • Contribute to the drafting, updating, and monitoring of prevention plans and HSE procedures

  • Organize and deliver safety awareness sessions and training for site teams

  • Carry out regular HSE inspections and follow up on corrective actions

  • Monitor HSE performance indicators and prepare reports for management and clients

  • Proactively contribute to continuously improving safety culture and environmental performance


Profile Required

  • Higher education degree in Health, Safety & Environment (Bachelor’s to Master’s level)

  • At least 5 years of proven experience on heavy industrial sites, ideally in petrochemicals or chemicals

  • In-depth knowledge of French and international HSE regulations

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and raise awareness among teams

  • Proficiency in office tools and reporting systems

  • Professional level of English appreciated for work in an international environment
