Mission Context
Within an industrial environment with high HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) stakes, the HSE Prevention Officer works directly on site to ensure control of risks related to production activities and ongoing construction works.
The position is part of a demanding operational context and requires an immediate start, with no training or onboarding period.
Main Responsibilities

Ensure prevention of risks related to industrial activities and worksites

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations on site

Carry out field inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments

Participate in managing simultaneous activities (co-activity) and securing interventions

Support operational teams in applying HSE procedures

Contribute to handling hazardous situations and implementing corrective actions

Provide HSE reporting to relevant stakeholders
Required Profile
-
Minimum of a 2-year post-secondary degree (Bac +2) in HSE or a related field

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial environment

Proven experience with heat production facilities, gas boiler plants, or biomass units

Strong field-oriented profile, autonomous and immediately operational

Ability to integrate quickly into an active industrial site
Mandatory Skills and Certifications
The following certifications must be valid and up to date:

Working at height with safety harness

Electrical authorization H0-B0 minimum

First Aid at Work (SST – preferably issued within the last 24 months)

Asbestos certification – Subsection 4 (SS4) mandatory
Specific Requirements

Essential experience on high-risk worksites with significant simultaneous activities
