HSE Site Supervisor (J25-197)

Context:
As part of an industrial project in the agri-food sector, we are looking for an HSE Site Supervisor.
The consultant will operate on both the production and construction areas, supporting the client (owner) and subcontractors to ensure workforce safety, compliance with environmental standards, and strict application of hygiene rules specific to the sector.

Main missions:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE rules during construction works on an agri-food industrial site.

  • Identify, analyze, and prevent risks related to activities (personnel safety, hygiene, environment).

  • Implement and monitor the prevention plan and work permits.

  • Train, raise awareness, and support teams and subcontractors on HSE best practices.

  • Enforce regulatory, internal, and legal HSE standards.

  • Report incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and propose corrective actions.

Associated activities:

  • Monitor PPE usage and compliance with safety instructions.

  • Conduct regular site inspections (field audits).

  • Participate in site meetings and prepare HSE reports.

  • Contribute to waste management, emissions control, and pollution risk prevention.

  • Update HSE indicators and support continuous improvement.

Profile sought:

  • Education: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in HSE, QHSE, Safety, Environment, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in HSE on construction sites, ideally in the industrial or agri-food sector.

  • Skills:

    • Knowledge of HSE regulations in industrial environments.

    • Mastery of risk management tools (risk analysis, DUER, hot work permits, prevention plans).

    • Ability to lead safety talks and awareness sessions.

  • Qualities: Rigorous, natural authority, strong communication skills, pedagogy, responsiveness.

Working conditions:

  • Daily presence on site (construction area within food production facility).

  • Mandatory use of PPE (helmet, safety shoes, glasses, hairnet, gown depending on area).

  • Direct collaboration with subcontractors and production teams.
