Maintenance Contract Manager – Instrumentation / Mechanical (J25-183)

Context:

As part of a maintenance contract on a Seveso-classified industrial site, our client is looking for a Contract Manager with solid experience in instrumentation and good knowledge of mechanical systems. You will work in coordination with the client and internal teams to ensure contractual commitments are met, performance is monitored, and continuous improvement actions are implemented — all within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Monitoring contractual commitments, client relations, and reporting

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyzing KPIs and implementing corrective actions

  • Organization & Coordination: Planning maintenance operations and coordinating teams and subcontractors

  • Documentation & Methods: Writing operating procedures, maintenance protocols, and progress reports

  • Meetings & Communication: Leading weekly and monthly meetings with the client and internal teams

  • Continuous Improvement: Proposing and implementing solutions to optimize maintenance reliability and cost-efficiency

Profile Sought:

Education:

  • Bac+3 to Bac+5 (equivalent to Bachelor’s to Master’s) in Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years in maintenance contract management

  • Experience on high-risk sites (Seveso, chemical, petrochemical, energy) is appreciated

Technical Skills:

  • Instrumentation and measurement systems (sensors, loops, regulation)

  • Basic mechanical knowledge (rotating equipment, pumps, valves)

  • Ability to read technical drawings, P&ID, electrical and instrumentation diagrams

  • Strong reporting and KPI monitoring skills

  • Ability to write procedures, operating instructions, and technical reports

  • Proficiency with office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CMMS is a plus

  • Ability to work in a highly regulated and safety-constrained environment (Seveso regulations)
