Mechanical Equipment & Piping Installation Methods Engineer (M/F) (J25-180)

Main Responsibilities

Integrated into the Methods team, you will provide your technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects involving the installation of mechanical equipment and piping systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing clear, robust technical procedures that comply with client regulatory, normative, and technical requirements, while adhering to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) rules.

  • Defining the tools and equipment required to carry out the services.

  • Providing operational support for interventions and contributing to the resolution of deviations in collaboration with other departments.

  • Optimizing and improving procedures by leveraging feedback from manufacturing and construction phases.

Profile Sought

Education:
Degree from Bac+2 to Bac+5 (equivalent to associate’s to master’s level) in mechanical engineering, piping, boiler-making, industrial methods, or related fields.

Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in the industry, ideally on large-scale energy or nuclear projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations for new pressure equipment and supports:

    • Directive 2014/68/EU, EN1090-2, EN13480, EN13445, ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC, RCC-M

  • Practical experience with these standards is highly valued.

  • Knowledge of regulations related to nuclear pressure equipment is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of key equipment and components in industrial installations, especially piping networks.

Tools:

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Languages:

  • Good level of English, minimum B2 (CEFR)
