Planning Engineer (J25-260)

Context and Mission:
As part of an owner’s project management (AMO) mission for a major infrastructure project, the Planning Engineer will join the Project Management team.
They will play a key role in managing, coordinating, and monitoring discipline-specific and cross-discipline schedules, ensuring overall consistency with the project master schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop discipline-specific schedules to be produced by the AMO, in line with the master schedule and assumption notes.

  • Ensure monthly and/or quarterly updates of the schedules.

  • Verify the consistency of contractor schedules and reports against the reference schedule.

  • Analyze deviations and delays and issue necessary alerts.

  • Maintain updated interface and cross-discipline schedules.

  • Monitor progress dashboards by discipline and package.

  • Review monthly reports from contractors and consolidate information for the AMO.

Profile:

  • Education: Engineer or university degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience on major infrastructure or complex construction projects.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Project, TILOS, and Microsoft Office suite.

    • Basic autonomy in AutoCAD functions.

    • Excellent analytical skills and ability to write technical reports in French.

  • Qualities: Rigor, autonomy, synthesis skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
