Role Summary
We are currently hiring an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in building construction supervision within the Gulf market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project execution, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and maintaining effective coordination between stakeholders. This role is operationally focused, with direct involvement in day-to-day supervision activities and structured client interaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage assigned building projects throughout the supervision phase
- Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with contract documents and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities
- Review and respond to RFP documentation and technical submissions
- Monitor project schedules and progress using Primavera or similar planning tools
- Oversee quality control procedures and compliance with international standards
- Administer contractual matters including variations, claims, and documentation
- Prepare regular progress reports and executive summaries
- Contribute to dispute resolution processes when necessary
Academic & Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Architecture)
- PMP Certification (required)
- Master’s Degree in Construction Management (advantageous)
- Chartered Engineering certification or equivalent (preferred)
Technical & Professional Skills
- Solid knowledge of construction supervision services
- Familiarity with international engineering standards and regulatory frameworks
- Clear understanding of contract structures and administration procedures
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Working knowledge of Primavera and project scheduling principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience Profile
- Industry Background – Overall
- 13+ years of experience in the construction sector / building projects
Project-Specific Exposure
- Experience within a leading regional or multinational consultancy firm is strongly preferred
- Direct involvement in construction supervision of building developments
- Participation in at least two large-scale building projects
- Exposure to: client interaction, contractor and supplier coordination, contract management, quality control processes, claims handling and dispute discussions
- Working experience in the Gulf region, specifically KSA is preferred
