Context
The Rigger plays a critical role in telecom deployment projects by supporting the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of network infrastructure. The position involves working at heights to install and align antennas, feeders, and transmission equipment while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The Rigger collaborates closely with Site Engineers and field teams to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
Missions & Responsibilities
Installation & Deployment
- Perform installation of telecom equipment, including antennas, feeders, RRUs, and transmission systems
- Execute rigging activities on towers, rooftops, and other structures
- Support commissioning activities under supervision of engineers
- Ensure proper cable routing, fixing, labeling, and weatherproofing
Network Rollout Support
- Assist in RAN and/or Transmission network rollout projects
- Work closely with engineers and technicians during deployment phases
- Support integration and basic testing activities when required
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of installed equipment
- Identify and report faults or installation issues
- Assist in corrective and preventive maintenance activities
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Strictly follow all health and safety regulations, especially for working at heights
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment at all times
Reporting & Coordination
- Report daily activities and site progress to supervisors
- Ensure all installation activities are properly documented
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient task execution
Profile Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in telecom network rollout (RAN and/or Transmission)
- Hands-on experience with telecom vendors or operators in installation and commissioning
- Experience working on towers and at heights is mandatory
- Certification in rigging, climbing, or safety is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson equipment is a plus
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of telecom installation standards and practices
- Ability to handle installation tools and equipment
- Understanding of antenna systems, feeders, and basic transmission setup
- Familiarity with safety procedures for working at heights

- Ability to work in physically demanding environments

Languages
- Good command of English (written and spoken), especially for technical and safety communication
