Safety Engineer (M/F) (J25-073)
Location: PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France)

As part of a classified project related to national defense, this position requires French nationality.

Main Responsibilities:

Safety Assessments: Conduct risk analyses, safety evaluations, and compliance studies for nuclear facilities.

Documentation Management: Draft, update, and track safety documentation, including Safety Analysis Reports (SARs) and other regulatory files.

Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project teams to integrate safety considerations throughout all phases of the facility’s lifecycle.

Audits and Inspections: Prepare for and participate in internal audits and inspections by regulatory authorities (e.g., ASN, IRSN), and contribute to corrective action plans.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose measures to enhance operational safety in coordination with project stakeholders.

Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up to date on the evolution of standards and regulatory requirements applicable to the nuclear sector.
Candidate Profile:

Degree from an engineering school or Master’s degree (Master 2) in Nuclear Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in nuclear safety, ideally on INB projects (Basic Nuclear Installations) or within a regulated environment

Strong knowledge of applicable standards (e.g., INB decree, ASN guidelines, IRSN procedures)

Proven skills in risk analysis and technical document writing

Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
