Start date: Immediate
Sector: Industry (energy, nuclear, complex infrastructure)

Context

As part of highly technical industrial and energy projects, the Senior Civil Engineering Design Expert acts as a technical reference throughout the entire project lifecycle. They ensure the quality of structural decisions, oversee complex studies, and play a key role in technical coordination and team support.

Missions

Complex Technical Studies

  • Carry out or lead design and execution studies: advanced calculations, 3D modelling, complex structural sizing.

  • Validate design assumptions, calculation methodologies, and proposed structural solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with standards (Eurocodes, seismic regulations, DTU) and regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise & Validation

  • Act as a technical reference for internal and external teams.

  • Secure structural decisions on strategic projects.

  • Perform technical reviews of deliverables: calculation notes, drawings, written documents.

Coordination & Technical Management

  • Collaborate with architects, geotechnicians, fluid specialists, methods teams, and contractors.

  • Participate in technical meetings and contribute to structural decisions.

  • Act as a partial technical authority for engineering analyses and decisions.

Team Leadership & Support
