Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Supply Planning & S&OP Manager to take full ownership of end-to-end planning activities for a leading specialty food organization.
The role is critical in driving demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and the overall Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and operational capabilities.

This position requires a strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational expertise, particularly within environments dealing with perishable or shelf-life–sensitive products.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Lead and continuously enhance demand forecasting and supply planning
  • Translate commercial forecasts into feasible and optimized supply plans.
  • Ensure alignment between demand, production capacity, and sourcing constraints.

Inventory Optimization

  • Define and manage replenishment strategies across distribution networks.
  • Optimize inventory levels across Finished Goods (FG), Raw Materials (RM), and Work In Progress (WIP).
  • Minimize waste, obsolescence, and inventory write-offs, particularly for short shelf-life products.

S&OP Governance

  • Own and drive the end-to-end S&OP cycle, including demand review, supply review, consensus planning, and executive alignment.
  • Facilitate cross-functional S&OP meetings and ensure disciplined decision-making.
  • Provide clear scenarios, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a central interface between procurement, production, sales, logistics, and finance.
  • Ensure seamless information flow and alignment across the supply chain.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Define, monitor, and analyze key KPIs related to service level, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and planning adherence.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning maturity, efficiency, and resilience.
  • Support the evolution of planning processes, tools, and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of expérience in supply chain planning, ideally within the food industry or FMCG.
  • Proven expertise in S&OP, demand planning, and supply planning at a senior level.
  • Strong experience managing perishable or shelf-life–sensitive products is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Proficiency with planning tools and ERP systems (APS, ERP, forecasting platforms).
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
