Context:
As part of the construction of a data center, Eiffage is urgently looking for an SSI Works Supervisor with confirmed expertise in Fire Safety Systems (SSI). You will be involved in on-site supervision throughout all phases of installation, integration, and inspection of SSI systems, in an environment with very high technical requirements.
The position requires an experienced, autonomous, methodical profile capable of rigorously managing the works in coordination with the various stakeholders on site.
Main Responsibilities:
• Supervise all SSI works on site (installation, wiring, integration, testing).
• Check the technical compliance of installations with SSI standards, execution documents, and data center requirements.
• Ensure coordination in the field with companies, subcontractors, installers, and engineering teams.
• Lead test phases, functional checks, and safety procedures.
• Identify deviations, alert the project manager, and follow up corrective actions.
• Guarantee execution quality and adherence to deadlines for the SSI scope.
• Draft supervision reports, anomaly logs, and technical reports.
• Participate in site meetings and provide SSI expertise for technical decisions.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures and specific data center regulations.
Desired Profile:
• Minimum 7 years’ experience supervising SSI works.
• Essential SSI expertise (standards, protocols, integration, scenarios, equipment).
• Experience in a data center environment is highly appreciated.
• Strong command of technical constraints in tertiary and industrial construction.
• Ability to make technical decisions in a partial supervision role.
• Strong rigor, control mindset, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with installers, MOE/MOA teams, and contractors.
Technical Skills:
• Mastery of Fire Safety Systems: detectors, ECS, CMSI, DAS, scenarios, tests, protocols.
• Reading and analysis of plans, as-built documents, diagrams, and technical files.
• Site monitoring, coordination, and supervision in a complex environment.
• Management of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitoring schedules and site reporting.
