Context
As part of industrial projects related to the design and use of heavy equipment, we are looking for a Tooling Developer. You will take part in the design, development, and follow-up of technical solutions for machining, assembly, lifting, and maintenance of complex mechanical parts.

Main Responsibilities

Design and Development

  • Design and develop specific tooling for machining, assembly, lifting, or maintenance of heavy mechanical parts.

  • Carry out mechanical studies and dimensioning calculations (including manual calculations on site).

  • Define and implement tooling solutions adapted to technical and operational constraints.

Industrialization and Workshop Follow-up

  • Ensure testing, adjustment, and validation of tooling in the workshop.

  • Follow manufacturing and assembly phases in collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Act as the main contact for operators to ensure feasibility and ergonomics of solutions.

Project Management and Coordination

  • Participate in planning, ensure technical follow-up, and meet deadlines.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and manufacturing processes.

  • Guarantee compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Profile Sought

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Bac+5).

  • First successful experience in tooling design, mechanical calculations, and workshop follow-up.

  • Proficiency in CATIA design tools.

Technical Skills

  • Mechanical calculations (including manual methods for quick validation).

  • 3D CAD design (CATIA).

  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly).

  • Ability to work with heavy industrial equipment.

Behavioral Skills

  • Punctual, persistent, and humble, with a true team spirit.

  • Available and responsive, particularly for on-site interventions.

  • Comfortable with direct interaction with workshop operators, hands-on mindset.

  • Early riser and organized, able to manage time and priorities effectively
