Welding Manager IWE (M/F) (J26-017)

Context

As part of a strategic nuclear industrial project related to the manufacturing of sumps for the EPR2, the IWE Welding Manager ensures regulatory, standards, and technical compliance of welding operations.
They play a key role in securing manufacturing processes in line with nuclear requirements and associated quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Management and supervision of welding activities within the project scope
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable nuclear standards and codes
  • Definition, validation, and monitoring of welding procedures (WPS, PQR)
  • Supervision of welder and process qualifications
  • Interface with methods, quality, production, and inspection teams
  • Participation in technical reviews and decisions related to welding processes
  • Monitoring non-conformities, corrective actions, and feedback/lessons learned
  • Contribution to compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements

Profile Required

  • Education: Certified International Welding Engineer (IWE)
  • Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years in a demanding industrial environment
  • Proven experience on nuclear projects, ideally EPR or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear welding standards and codes
  • Ability to work on manufacturing projects with high quality and safety stakes
