Context
As part of infrastructure and construction projects, we are seeking a BIM Manager to lead the BIM strategy, ensure the governance of digital data, and guarantee the quality of digital models throughout the entire project life cycle.
As the BIM reference, you will support production teams, coordinate the various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with processes, standards, and modeling requirements while promoting interoperability and the continuous improvement of working methods.
Responsibilities & Duties
BIM Strategy Management
- Define and implement the BIM strategy for projects.
- Implement information management processes in accordance with ISO 19650.
- Develop and continuously improve BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), procedures, and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards throughout the projects.
BIM Coordination & Management
- Lead BIM coordination across the different disciplines.
- Support modeling teams in applying BIM best practices.
- Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings.
- Supervise the production, coordination, and validation processes of digital models.
- Monitor quality indicators and BIM deliverables.
Data Management & Quality
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of digital models.
- Monitor data exchanges between the different stakeholders.
- Manage OpenBIM formats and ensure model interoperability.
- Implement quality control procedures for BIM models.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and optimize BIM workflows.
- Automate production processes using scripts and dedicated tools.
- Monitor technological developments in BIM tools, methods, and standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s digital practices.
Profile Required
- Master’s degree (Bachelor’s +5 equivalent) in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, BIM, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM Management.
- Strong experience in BIM coordination on infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proficiency in collaborative BIM processes and digital information management.
- Good understanding of OpenBIM standards and interoperability challenges.
- Excellent technical writing skills for the preparation of technical and methodological documentation.
