Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive VRD Supervisor to oversee Roads and Various Networks (VRD) activities on a major construction project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves supervising all works related to sanitation systems, stormwater drainage, road infrastructure, and associated utilities, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor drainage works, including gutters, ditches, culverts, and other hydraulic structures
- Oversee installation and maintenance of underground networks such as stormwater and sewage systems
- Coordinate daily with civil engineering teams, roadwork crews, and pavement specialists to ensure alignment of activities
- Ensure all works are executed in compliance with project specifications, technical drawings, and quality standards
- Participate in site inspections, testing procedures, and validation of completed works
- Identify and report any technical issues or delays, and propose corrective actions
- Maintain accurate daily progress reports and communicate updates to project management
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards on site
Required Profile
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Public Works, or a related field
- Proven experience in VRD, infrastructure, or road construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, pipelines, and road networks
- Hands-on, field-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Working proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)
