Context
As part of a major infrastructure project, we are looking for an HVAC Engineer to lead and coordinate HVAC technical engineering studies. You will work at the interface between engineering design offices, construction teams, the Engineer (Project Management), and inspection bodies to ensure the quality of the engineering studies, compliance with contractual requirements, and effective coordination between the various disciplines throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC engineering studies carried out by internal engineering teams and subcontractors.
- Review and update the input data required for the engineering studies.
- Coordinate the various engineering design offices and manage technical interfaces.
- Monitor the quality of the engineering studies and approve deliverables before submission to the client.
- Manage document control (DMS, document transmittals, document registers).
- Manage Engineer (MOE) approvals and address comments from inspection bodies.
- Monitor technical changes (adaptation requests, change requests, questions and answers).
- Supervise subcontracted engineering design offices during the Detailed Design (EXE) and Construction (REA) phases.
- Participate in technical meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and provide project reporting.
- Monitor the progress of engineering studies, schedules, and costs, and propose corrective actions in the event of deviations.
Technical Skills
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems and installations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems (DMS), and planning software (MS Project is an advantage).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is an asset.
Candidate Profile
- Engineering degree or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Thermal Engineering, Building Services Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering on complex projects.
- Proven experience coordinating engineering design offices and managing subcontractors.
- Experience on transportation, metro, tunnel, railway, data center, nuclear, or major industrial projects is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Grand Paris Express projects is a significant advantage.
