Context
As part of highly technical industrial projects in the energy sector, engineering teams are being strengthened to work on complex projects. The position is within a multidisciplinary environment covering the entire project lifecycle: studies, detailed design, construction, and commissioning of installations.
Main Responsibilities
Design & Engineering Studies
- Define and design instrumentation and control systems
- Develop technical and functional specifications for equipment
- Contribute to system architecture design (sensors, actuators, PLCs, supervision systems)
Documentation Production
- Produce and verify technical diagrams: P&IDs, hook-ups, instrumentation loops, block diagrams
- Prepare engineering documentation (technical notes, study files, specifications)
- Ensure technical consistency of deliverables
Interface & Coordination
- Act as an interface with process, electrical, and systems teams
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
- Contribute to technical decisions during the engineering phase
Supplier Follow-up & Execution
- Participate in supplier consultations and technical bid analysis
- Monitor suppliers and validate technical documents
- Take part in testing phases (FAT/SAT) and commissioning
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements
- Apply current industrial standards and regulations
Profile Required
- Master’s degree (Engineering school or equivalent) in automation, electrical engineering, or instrumentation
- Significant experience in instrumentation and control systems on industrial projects
- Experience in complex and structured project environments
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Professional English required
Key Skills
Technical Skills
- Design of instrumentation and control systems
- Strong knowledge of PLC and supervision system architectures (PLC / DCS / SCADA)
- Ability to read and develop P&IDs
- Technical specification writing
- Knowledge of industrial standards and regulations
