Context

As part of complex industrial projects in a nuclear environment, we are looking for a Piping Isometrics & Supports Qualification Engineer to ensure the technical compliance of piping engineering studies and support systems.

The position consists of qualifying engineering deliverables, ensuring their compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and supporting technical teams in the handling of deviations. You will work in a demanding environment requiring strong document rigor, multidisciplinary coordination, and regular exchanges with international teams.

Responsibilities & Duties

Technical Qualification

• Analyze and qualify piping isometrics and support systems.
• Verify the compliance of studies with technical specifications, design codes, and contractual requirements.
• Check the consistency between isometrics, P&IDs, and other engineering documents.
• Participate in the validation of technical documentation before its release.

Document Control & Compliance

• Verify the documentary compliance of engineering deliverables.
• Identify technical and documentary deviations.
• Ensure the follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Guarantee the traceability of modifications and validations.

Technical Coordination

• Collaborate with the design, calculation, installation, and quality teams.
• Participate in technical meetings and design reviews.
• Ensure the interface with the various project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the resolution of technical issues related to piping engineering studies.

Project Follow-up

• Participate in monitoring the progress of qualification activities.
• Produce technical reports and validation meeting minutes.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality requirements, and project objectives.
• Participate in technical travel to various sites and partner locations when necessary.

Profile Required

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Piping, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering, technical qualification, or piping engineering studies.
• Good command of piping isometrics and support systems.
• Knowledge of ASME, EN, RCC-M codes and standards, or equivalent.
• Experience in a nuclear environment or a highly regulated industrial environment is highly appreciated.
• Fluent French and technical English are essential.
• Mobility for occasional travel to various sites in France and internationally.
