Context
As part of projects in the energy sector, we are seeking a Project Planner to manage, monitor, and optimize project execution schedules.

The role operates within a multi-stakeholder environment involving engineering, construction, commissioning, suppliers, and subcontractors. The Planner plays a key role in schedule management, identification of planning risks, and reporting to project management.

Responsibilities & Duties

Schedule Development and Management

• Develop master and detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

• Define activity sequencing logic and identify critical paths.

• Integrate technical, contractual, and operational constraints into project schedules.

• Participate in planning all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Progress Monitoring

• Regularly update schedules based on actual project progress.

• Analyze variances between planned and actual progress.

• Identify potential schedule deviations and propose corrective action plans.

• Perform schedule delay and planning risk analyses.

Project Coordination

• Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers, and field teams.

• Participate in project steering and coordination meetings.

• Collect and consolidate progress data from all project stakeholders.

• Ensure overall consistency and alignment of the project schedule.

Reporting

• Produce schedule performance dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Prepare progress reports for management and clients.

• Highlight critical milestones and potential impacts on project timelines.

• Communicate schedule-related information to project teams.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Bac +3) with significant experience or Master’s Degree (Bac +5) in Project Management, Planning, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 7 to 10 years of experience in industrial project planning.

• Proven experience within the energy sector.

• Familiarity with EPC environments, engineering, construction, or large-scale industrial projects.

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-package projects.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6.

• Strong understanding of the industrial project lifecycle.

• Knowledge of planning methodologies and schedule analysis techniques.

• Proficiency in reporting and data analysis tools.

• Professional level of English required.
