As part of the development of tertiary-sector projects, we are seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to work on medium and large-scale projects, mainly in the office, hospital, hotel, retail, and complex building sectors.
The position is design- and engineering-oriented, with strong involvement in technical studies, stakeholder coordination, and project support throughout the design phases. Experience in an industrial environment is considered an asset.
• Carry out HVAC design studies across all project phases (Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Tender Documentation).
• Design and size heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and air treatment systems.
• Prepare calculation notes, schematic diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Define the most suitable technical solutions according to project requirements.
• Participate in equipment selection and technical/economic optimization.
• Act as interface with other technical disciplines and design teams.
• Participate in technical meetings and project reviews.
• Ensure technical consistency of produced studies.
• Support drafters and CAD technicians in the production of deliverables.
• Contribute to client requirement analysis and definition of technical solutions.
• Assist in cost estimation and preparation of tender documents.
• Analyze contractors’ technical proposals.
• Ensure technical follow-up of projects up to the tender phase.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods.
• Maintain technical and regulatory monitoring in the HVAC field.
• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in HVAC Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in HVAC design within a consulting engineering firm, design office, or engineering company.
• Experience in large-scale tertiary building projects.
• Strong command of building design phases.
• Experience in the industrial sector is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
