Context

As part of major energy sector projects, a Senior Planner is sought to manage and optimize project schedules during both tendering and execution phases. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, clients, and various stakeholders to ensure schedule control, forecast reliability, and successful project delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage master project schedules.

• Monitor project progress and analyze variances between planned and actual performance.

• Identify critical paths and propose schedule optimization strategies.

• Coordinate planning inputs from all project stakeholders.

• Prepare periodic reports and performance dashboards for management and clients.

• Participate in the preparation of schedules for tender submissions and bid proposals.

• Support project teams in defining and implementing planning strategies.

• Contribute to schedule risk analysis and the development of mitigation plans.

• Support the planning and control of EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects.

• Participate in planning process improvement and organizational optimization initiatives when required.

• Monitor pre-commissioning activities and commissioning milestones on applicable projects.

Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning industrial or energy projects.

• Significant experience on large-scale projects during execution and/or tendering phases.

• Strong understanding of EPC project environments.

• Experience in multi-stakeholder coordination and project interface management.

• Ability to analyze, manage, and optimize complex project schedules.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

• Strong autonomy, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
