Role Summary
The Road Engineer supports the design, supervision, and execution of road works within infrastructure and railway projects, ensuring compliance with standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in road design (alignment, cross-sections, profiles)
- Supervise construction activities (earthworks, subgrade, subbase, asphalt)
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Conduct site inspections and QA/QC checks
- Support preparation of traffic management and detour plans
- Monitor progress and report site activities
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams
- Assist in reviewing drawings and technical documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10 years of experience in road or infrastructure projects
- Basic knowledge of pavement design and traffic management
- Familiarity with AutoCAD / Civil 3D / MS Office
- Experience in site supervision is preferred
