Role Summary
The Senior Road Engineer is responsible for the design, supervision, and delivery of road and pavement works within infrastructure and railway projects. The role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant road systems, including traffic management and integration with rail corridors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review road geometry (horizontal & vertical alignment)
- Supervise road construction and rehabilitation (earthworks, subgrade, subbase, asphalt)
- Ensure compliance with standards (AASHTO / MOT / local authorities)
- Prepare and review Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and detours
- Coordinate road–rail interfaces and maintain traffic flow during construction
- Monitor progress, quality, and cost of road works
- Conduct site inspections and QA/QC checks
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- +10 years in road / highway engineering
- Experience in urban, highway, or railway infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of pavement design and traffic management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D / Primavera P6
