Context

As part of a short-term assignment on a Gigafactory-type industrial project, we are looking for an Industrial Electrical BIM Modeler to work on updating and developing a digital model of electrical installations.

The position is focused on BIM production and the modeling of industrial low-voltage (LV) electrical installations, with an immediate start. Experience gained on a Gigafactory or a large-scale industrial project is a significant advantage. Remote work may be considered depending on the candidate’s profile.

Responsibilities & Duties

BIM Modeling

• Create and update BIM models of electrical installations.
• Model industrial low-voltage (LV) electrical equipment and networks in accordance with the project’s standards.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of the digital models.
• Update the models according to project developments.

Deliverables Production

• Produce construction drawings, sections, details, and technical views from the model.
• Verify the compliance of graphical deliverables before distribution.
• Manage and organize BIM files.

Technical Coordination

• Analyze drawings, schematics, and technical documents provided by the engineering teams.
• Participate in model reviews and technical discussions with the various stakeholders.
• Ensure the consistency of electrical equipment layouts and cable routing.

Project Support

• Participate in resolving modeling issues.
• Apply the BIM standards defined for the project.
• Ensure production deadlines are met.

Required Profile

• Bachelor’s degree +2 to +5 in BIM, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in BIM modeling in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in industrial low-voltage (LV) electrical installations.
• Experience on Gigafactory projects or on the Verkor project is a major advantage.
• Ability to become operational quickly and work autonomously.
