The candidate will provide expertise in the analysis of geological and hydrogeological conditions in order to secure technical choices, anticipate infrastructure-related risks, and optimize design solutions.
• Conduct geological and hydrogeological analysis of the corridors and rights-of-way under study.
• Identify and assess geotechnical, hydrogeological, and environmental risks that may impact the project.
• Define geological, geotechnical, and hydrogeological investigation and site investigation programs.
• Supervise field investigation campaigns and ensure the monitoring of specialized contractors.
• Analyze and validate the results of geological and hydrogeological investigations.
• Contribute to studies related to earthworks, bridges and structures, tunnels, and other associated infrastructure.
• Participate in the optimization of alignments while taking geological and hydrogeological constraints into account.
• Issue technical recommendations relating to foundations, cut-and-fill operations, drainage, and groundwater management.
• Prepare reports, technical notes, and geological and hydrogeological documents required for the Preliminary Design (APS) studies.
