Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the growth and development of infrastructure and construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, commercial strategy, client relationship management, and tendering activities. The position requires strong commercial acumen, a solid understanding of the infrastructure and construction industry, and the ability to manage complex bidding processes while contributing to the organization’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Commercial Growth
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the infrastructure and construction sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, government entities, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, procurement pipelines, and tender opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of commercial strategies to support business growth objectives.
- Represent the company during client meetings, industry events, and commercial discussions.
Tendering & Proposal Management
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive tender proposals and commercial offers.
- Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, and tender documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, technical, legal, procurement, and finance teams throughout the bid process.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial submissions aligned with project objectives and market conditions.
- Ensure all proposals meet quality standards and submission deadlines.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Negotiate commercial terms, conditions, and contractual agreements with clients and partners.
- Support contract reviews, risk assessments, and commercial evaluations.
- Participate in project handover processes from bid phase to project execution teams.
- Maintain accurate commercial records, sales forecasts, and business development reports.
- Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation measures.
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management, business development, tendering, or sales within the infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Proven experience managing tender submissions, bids, and commercial proposals.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and construction project lifecycles and procurement processes.
- Experience working with public and private sector clients.
- Familiarity with contractual and commercial frameworks commonly used in infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
