Context
As part of infrastructure and construction projects in the Occitanie region, this role focuses on the design and production of drawings related to high-voltage electrical installations, particularly HV/MV substations (HTA / HTB).
We are looking for an operational profile with strong AutoCAD expertise and a solid understanding of electrical engineering environments applied to electrical substations.
Main Responsibilities
The High Voltage CAD Designer / Draftsman will be responsible for:
- Producing technical drawings in AutoCAD for HV/MV substation projects (HTA / HTB).
- Creating, modifying, and updating layout drawings, schematics, sections, technical details, and execution drawings.
- Integrating electrical, civil engineering, infrastructure, and utility constraints into graphical documentation.
- Contributing to technical documentation packages: Concept Design (APS), Preliminary Design (APD), Detailed Design (PRO), Execution Files (EXE), and As-Built Documentation (DOE).
- Ensuring drawing consistency with specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinating with engineers, designers, construction managers, and site teams.
- Incorporating site feedback and updating documentation accordingly.
- Ensuring quality, readability, and compliance of produced deliverables.
Profile Required
Technical background in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, industrial drafting, or technical design.
Required Skills
- Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in drafting/design for high-voltage electrical projects.
- Knowledge of HV/MV substations (HTA / HTB).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layout plans, and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of interfaces between electrical engineering, civil engineering, and infrastructure works.
- Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and rigor.
- Ability to work effectively within a project team.
