Context
As part of a Data Center construction project, we are looking for an HSE Prevention Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and prevention requirements on the construction site.
Present daily on site, you support the construction teams and subcontracting companies in applying HSE rules, participate in risk analysis, and ensure the compliance of operations throughout the project.
Responsibilities & Duties
Prevention & Safety
- Deploy and enforce HSE rules on the construction site.
- Carry out safety inspections and identify risk situations.
- Lead safety toolbox talks and participate in site meetings.
- Raise team awareness of good prevention practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory signage and safety procedures.
Risk Analysis & Compliance
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of risk assessments.
- Verify the compliance of prevention documents (PGC, PPSPS, PDP).
- Monitor compliance with Labor Code requirements and internal procedures.
- Ensure the monitoring of statutory inspections of equipment present on site.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Produce HSE reports for the project management team.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Track safety indicators and propose areas for improvement.
- Ensure HSE coordination with subcontractors and the various stakeholders.
Operational Support
- Participate in monitoring sensitive phases of the construction project, particularly commissioning activities.
- Provide HSE support to the construction teams and contractors.
- Ensure the maintenance of a high level of safety culture throughout the project.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree +2 to Bachelor’s degree +5 in HSE, QHSE, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HSE prevention on construction sites.
- Mandatory experience in the construction sector.
- Participation in at least one Data Center project on the design consultancy, general contractor, or constructor side.
- Experience during the commissioning phases of hyperscale Data Centers is highly valued.
- H0-B0 electrical authorization desired.
