Context
As part of the development of commercial building projects, we are looking for an HVAC Design Engineer with solid experience in an engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will be involved in the technical design phases, client requirements analysis, and the production of engineering studies related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Carry out hydraulic and air distribution engineering studies.
- Design and size HVAC installations in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare technical specifications (CCTP) and Bills of Quantities (DPGF).
- Produce technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Analyze project requirements and propose optimized solutions through a value engineering approach.
- Consult suppliers and participate in the technical selection of equipment.
- Analyze and compare supplier quotations.
- Prepare and present technical documentation to clients.
- Produce study summaries and presentation materials (PowerPoint).
- Ensure compliance with DTU standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technical meetings with the various project stakeholders.
Required Profile
- Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in HVAC Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering consultancy or design office.
- Proven experience in commercial building projects.
- Strong ability to work independently on engineering design and technical studies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
