Role Summary
The ITS SME (Intelligent Transportation Systems) is responsible for the design, integration, and operation of smart traffic systems within infrastructure and railway projects, ensuring efficient traffic flow, safety, and real-time monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review ITS designs and system architecture
- Manage integration of systems (SCATS, CCTV, VMS, AVL, AFC)
- Coordinate with civil, telecom, and rail teams
- Support testing, commissioning, and system optimization
- Monitor performance and analyze traffic data
- Liaise with authorities for approvals and compliance
Requirements
- Degree in Civil / Transport / Electrical / Telecom Engineering
- +10 years in ITS or traffic systems
- Experience in metro, rail, or urban infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of SCATS / adaptive traffic systems preferred
