Role Summary
The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, execution, and delivery of civil works on large-scale infrastructure or railway projects. The role ensures quality, safety, and compliance while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise civil construction works (earthworks, concrete, roads, utilities, structures)
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, and method statements
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
- Monitor progress, cost, and schedule
- Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct site inspections
- Ensure full HSE compliance on site
- Coordinate with stakeholders (consultants, authorities, clients)
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- +10 years of experience in infrastructure / construction projects
- Experience in railway, road, or large urban projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of international standards and KSA regulations
- Experience with project tools (AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Office)
