Context

As part of the development of Hyperscale Data Center projects, we are seeking a Low Current Systems Design Engineer (ELV Engineer) to support the design phases of low-current systems installations.

The successful candidate will contribute to the production of technical studies and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines within an environment characterized by high requirements for availability, security, reliability, and quality.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) design studies for Hyperscale Data Center projects.

• Develop and/or review technical deliverables, including:

  • Schematics,
  • Single-line and system diagrams,
  • Layout drawings,
  • Technical reports,
  • Specifications,
  • Design documentation packages.

• Participate in defining low-current system architectures in compliance with project requirements.

• Ensure technical coordination with other disciplines, including:

  • Electrical Power (LV/HV),
  • HVAC,
  • BMS,
  • Security Systems,
  • Fire Safety Systems,
  • Telecommunications,
  • Architectural teams.

• Participate in design meetings, technical reviews, and coordination workshops.

• Identify technical inconsistencies and propose solutions adapted to project constraints.

• Verify compliance of engineering studies with Data Center standards, applicable regulations, and client requirements.

• Manage technical interfaces and ensure proper integration of ELV systems within the overall infrastructure.

• Contribute to improving documentation quality and securing the accuracy of project deliverables.

• Participate in the management of client comments and follow-up of corrective actions.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering, Low Current Systems, Telecommunications, or an equivalent discipline.

• Significant experience in ELV design studies for complex tertiary buildings, industrial facilities, critical infrastructure, or Data Center projects.

• Strong expertise in the following low-current systems:

  • Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FAS / SSI)
  • Structured Cabling & Communication Networks (VDI)
  • Access Control Systems
  • CCTV / Video Surveillance
  • Building Management Systems (BMS / GTB)
  • Technical Monitoring and Supervision Systems
  • Communication Infrastructure and Low-Current Networks

• Experience in Data Center environments is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure requirements and business continuity constraints.

• Ability to coordinate multiple technical interfaces simultaneously.

• High level of rigor, autonomy, and attention to detail.

• Strong focus on documentation quality and technical compliance.

• Professional English is appreciated within an international project environment.
