Context
As part of Hyperscale Data Center projects during the design phase, we are seeking a BIM Modeler – ELV Systems to support the production and development of BIM models related to Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, BIM Coordinators, and various technical disciplines to ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of BIM models throughout the design phases.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models related to ELV installations.
• Model equipment, cable pathways, networks, routing systems, and required openings to facilitate the integration of low-current systems.
• Ensure proper integration and coordination with other project disciplines, including:
- Electrical Power (LV/HV),
- HVAC,
- Structural Engineering,
- Architecture,
- Plumbing,
- Other technical systems.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and model review sessions.
• Identify technical clashes and contribute to clash detection and resolution processes.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM standards, modeling conventions, and project requirements.
• Verify graphical quality, data consistency, and required Levels of Detail (LOD) within produced models.
• Update BIM models according to design changes and project developments.
• Participate in the production of BIM deliverables and the preparation of model extractions required by project teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM methodologies, workflows, and processes.
Candidate Profile
• Degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering, BIM, Building Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in BIM modeling for complex technical projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and associated BIM tools.
• Good knowledge of ELV systems, including:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / Video Surveillance
- Fire Safety Systems (SSI)
- Structured Cabling & Communication Networks (VDI)
- Building Management Systems (BMS / GTB)
- Electronic Security Systems
• Experience on Data Center, technical building, or critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary integration constraints.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-discipline project environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and methodical working practices.
• Strong focus on BIM data management and deliverable quality.
