LV Electrical BIM Technician (J26-365)

Context

As part of transport and railway infrastructure projects, LV Electrical BIM Technicians are involved in the modeling of electrical installations for railway stations and associated facilities. The role focuses on the production and coordination of digital models during both the design and execution phases of projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Create BIM models of low-voltage electrical installations using Revit.

• Produce and update electrical drawings, sections, and single-line diagrams.

• Integrate electrical equipment into project digital models.

• Participate in BIM coordination with various technical disciplines and trades.

• Verify model consistency and identify potential technical clashes.

• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.

• Participate in technical and BIM coordination meetings.

• Update graphical documentation according to project developments and revisions.

• Contribute to the preparation of technical deliverables and digital As-Built Documentation (DOE).

Candidate Profile

• BTS, DUT, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrotechnics, BIM, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in BIM applied to tertiary electrical installations.

• Knowledge of transport infrastructure, railway station projects, or associated facilities is appreciated.

• Proficiency in Revit for electrical design and modeling.

• Good understanding of low-voltage electrical installations.

• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Technical Skills

• BIM modeling of LV electrical installations.

• Production of technical drawings and documentation using Revit.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Multi-disciplinary BIM coordination.

• Knowledge of tertiary electrical installations.

• Understanding of the constraints and requirements of transport infrastructure projects.
