Context
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead the mechanical engineering delivery of prestigious luxury hospitality developments in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee the design coordination and execution of HVAC, Public Health, and Fire Fighting systems, ensuring full compliance with established engineering standards, Saudi regulations, and international best practices.
This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience delivering complex MEP systems for 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, and iconic mixed-use developments within leading engineering consultancies or Tier-1 design firms.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Mechanical Engineering team, including HVAC, Public Health, and Fire Fighting disciplines.
- Ensure all mechanical engineering deliverables comply with established engineering standards, the Saudi Building Code (SBC), and project specifications.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and Interior Design teams.
- Guarantee compliance with stringent acoustic comfort requirements, including NC/NR criteria for guest rooms and vibration isolation of major mechanical equipment.
- Supervise the coordination of dense mechanical services within restricted ceiling voids while maximizing usable ceiling heights and architectural intent.
- Review engineering calculations, technical reports, shop drawings, and mechanical design documentation.
- Resolve complex technical issues and support engineering decision-making throughout all project phases.
- Monitor engineering quality, technical risks, project schedules, and design performance.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support value engineering initiatives without compromising operational performance or luxury hospitality standards.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng. or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience delivering complex mechanical and MEP systems for 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or landmark mixed-use developments.
- Strong background within a premium engineering consultancy or Tier-1 multidisciplinary design firm.
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Public Health, Fire Fighting, and building services integration.
- Thorough understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and international engineering standards.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with international stakeholders.
