Context
We are seeking experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers to support the delivery of complex MEP systems for prestigious luxury hospitality developments in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will contribute to design review, technical coordination, construction support, and commissioning activities for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems, ensuring compliance with established engineering standards, Saudi regulations, and international best practices.
These positions are ideal for professionals with Middle East project experience, preferably on 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or other complex building developments.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and verify mechanical engineering calculations, including cooling and heating load calculations, hydraulic sizing, duct static pressure calculations, and equipment selections.
- Review HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Builder’s Works shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and the approved design intent.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines to resolve technical interfaces.
- Respond to site technical queries (RFIs) and provide engineering support during construction.
- Review technical submittals, material approvals, and equipment schedules.
- Support site inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and integrated system commissioning activities.
- Participate in Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) processes.
- Assist in value engineering initiatives while maintaining system performance and luxury hospitality standards.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with Saudi Building Code (SBC), ASHRAE, NFPA, and project-specific requirements.

Candidate Profile
Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience delivering mechanical engineering packages for luxury hospitality or complex building projects in the Middle East.
- Strong expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting systems, shop drawing review, and commissioning activities.
- Excellent understanding of international mechanical engineering standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Good knowledge of mechanical engineering standards and construction practices.
