Context
As part of the expansion of our renewable energy activities, we are looking for a Photovoltaic Project Manager. As the project lead, you will be responsible for the overall management of photovoltaic projects, overseeing the commercial, technical, financial, contractual, operational, and HSE aspects from the feasibility study through to the commissioning and handover of the installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage photovoltaic projects while ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Analyze client requirements and carry out technical feasibility studies.
- Prepare technical specifications and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare project cost estimates, commercial proposals, and tender submissions.
- Plan construction activities, organize resources, and coordinate internal teams and subcontractors.
- Supervise technical engineering studies, including drawings, electrical schematics, layouts, and network designs.
- Monitor on-site construction activities and ensure that installations comply with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conduct technical and functional acceptance inspections prior to commissioning.
- Monitor project budgets, margins, procurement, invoicing, and payments.
- Ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, lead site meetings, project steering committee meetings, and technical site visits.
- Manage project teams and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project activities.
Technical Skills
- Higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role managing photovoltaic or electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic systems and electrical distribution networks.
- Good understanding of applicable electrical standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Experience in project cost estimation, financial management, and project monitoring.
- Valid driver’s license (Category B) required for travel to project sites.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Proven experience managing projects in the photovoltaic, renewable energy, or electrical sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate various stakeholders.
