Context

As part of the development of our activities on major industrial projects and Data Centers, we are looking for a Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) Planner to strengthen the Project Controls teams.

Reporting to the Planning / Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for the development, monitoring, and analysis of schedules for complex projects. You will work closely with engineering, construction, subcontractor, and various stakeholder teams to secure project deadlines and anticipate project deviations.

Main Responsibilities

Project Schedule Development and Management

  • Develop, structure, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
  • Develop and maintain baseline schedules in collaboration with the project teams.
  • Structure the WBS, work packages, and the different scheduling levels.
  • Integrate the Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Testing & Commissioning phases.
  • Define logical relationships, milestones, and interfaces between the different project disciplines.

Progress Monitoring and Schedule Control

  • Collect and consolidate progress data from engineering, construction, and subcontractor teams.
  • Regularly update the schedule and measure actual project progress.
  • Analyze variances between actual progress, the baseline, and contractual objectives.
  • Identify and analyze the critical path.
  • Anticipate schedule deviation risks and propose corrective actions.
  • Develop Recovery Plans and catch-up scenarios when necessary.

Planning / OPC Coordination

  • Ensure schedule coordination between the various project stakeholders and work packages.
  • Monitor interfaces between civil works, MV/LV electrical systems, low-voltage systems, HVAC, installation, and commissioning.
  • Participate in planning meetings with internal teams, the client, and partner companies.
  • Challenge the schedules provided by the different contributors and ensure the consistency of the overall project schedule.

Reporting & Project Controls

  • Produce progress reports for project management and the client.
  • Develop and monitor scheduling KPIs, S-curves, and performance indicators.
  • Identify schedule risks and propose appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Participate in schedule reviews and project performance analyses.
  • Provide a clear view of variances, trends, and critical issues that may impact project milestones.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Operational proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
  • Development and management of complex project schedules.

Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and schedule management on complex projects.
  • Significant experience on Data Center, Critical Facilities, industrial, energy, nuclear, infrastructure, or EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining detailed schedules containing a large number of activities.
  • Ability to develop and manage a complete baseline schedule for a multidisciplinary project.
  • Experience in critical path analysis and the development of recovery plans.
  • Experience gained within a major engineering or construction company is considered a strong asset.
  • Professional English is mandatory, particularly for meetings, coordination, and reporting.
